I saw the other thread having to do with a SC and nitrous and the nitrous not really doing any good. If you had a fogger system wouldn't they work together then? What would a fogger system and the , let's say, blitz supercharger put out? educated guesses would be great

And on the slightly more helpful side.........

I have no idea why anyone would think nitrous and an SC wouldn;t work together. In any FI system the effect of nitrous is amplified for a couple of reasons.

1 - Colder intake/chamber temperatures from nice cold nitrous
2 - Higher compression gives a better release of the oxygen element in the gas, this is what you really need

As a rule of thumb, the normal shot of gas will be worth about 2.5 to 3 times as much in an FI system.

For example, my mates new beetle, 2.0l with wet system.

As NA with 50 shot of nitrous gives a about 35 extra at the wheels.

Whack on a turbo (T3 in this case) running at 7psi and change the jets to 30 shot, wahey, an extra 70 at the wheels.

This also applies for an SC, I'll prove it once I have finished fine tuning mine :D

no one ever said they wouldnt work together.. what I said was you dont need them both.. instead of running nitrous as well as the supercharger just put a smaller pulley on to up the boost.. the only reason to really run nitrous in addition to turbo or s/c is for the cold air effect..
