I am hearing a wierd grumbling sound when i start to move me car forward from the stop postion. it like i hear engine rev i hear gear catch then i hear somthing thats not supposta be there like that sound of the car almost dieing then you quick press the clutch but its after i release the clutch and it happens in second gear too if i'm going under 1500rpms when i'm at 3-4000rpms everything is fine it shifts well it sounds good only when i'm slow and under 1500 rpms i'm scared for my baby i dont know what to do! i'm taking her to dealer tomorrow and i'll let you guys know what it is just in case you have it to and think its normal or if it is normal i dont think it is cuz i never heard untill today laterz

Hey, WTF, I have problems with my Celi too. I was warming up my Celi this morning when I noticed a lil shake and my belt started making noice and then my CEL went on. I guess I'll be seeing u tomorrow @ the Fremont Toyota ;) :wtc:

Im almost certain the grumbling noise is your belt tensioner, I had mine replaced under warranty about a month ago and all the noises are gone now. Take it in to your dealership and ask them to take a look at it, there is a TSB on it so most likely they will cover it under warranty.
Yeah, the tensioner apparently causes the belts to squeak, but on my car it was rattling at idle and made the car sound like a diesel. Replaced under warranty and no problems since.
