View Full Version : No love for the Celi

Since I have come back from deployment there has been no love for my celi. In May I get hit in the rear quarter panel; last month I got backed into by one of the people I work with and he destroyed my hood. It looked like a can opener cut it open. The good thing was I got a carbon fiber hood out of the deal.
I picked it up two weeks ago and went to Niagara falls with it this past weekend and some one decided to rip my spoiler off. Who does that? I guess they also tried to break the window but all they did was take giant gouges out of the glass. It has spent more time in the body shop than me driving it. I would post pics of all the evil but I have no clue how to do that. Just no luck for me this past summer. Makes me want to get rid of it sometimes.

Did you piss someone off on the way to Niagra? Maybe cut someone off, "take their lane", maybe tailgate someone? Thats odd that all the way up in a tourist area someone would just be like, "hey lets fu<k up this Celica for the hell of it".
Sorry about your misfortune. Hope you have better luck

those gouges to the windows sounds like they were trying to get into the car. the theives did that to me and then jus resulted to breaking the entire passenger window.

I did not piss anyone off up there. I guess it was too nice looking so they had to make it look ugly. They must have been rookies trying to break into the car with attempting to break the glass.
As far as repair the glass is going to be fully covered by insurance with no deductible. As far as the wing I will have to pay for that out of my own pocket and since the guy I bought it from last time wont have any for the next 2 months it will give me time to save. I did not want to make another claim to the insurance company since I am sure they would raise my rates. Oh well I guess S**t happens!

What is your previous record like? Any accidents/tickets? If not, and you have full coverage then insurance would cover your claims with no change in rates....
