im not sure exactly but my map from Monkey wrench just says 2zz-ge and it starts up fine and its faster than before so i am assuming that it is loaded and working.

never assume.... assumption is mother of all fvckups, this assumption can fvck your engine up real bad if it does not have map in there. Do you know anyone with commander or datalogit to pull numbers off your PFC? That is the quickest and safest way to check.

I have the commander. For the map it just says 2zz-ge so i dunno if thats what it comes like from Apexi or if thats what monkey wrench put on.

MWR has on their Celica GTS page that the JDM PFC base map is very bad and that there's lots of knock and you lose power compared to the stock ecu.

hmm well i paid monkey wrench for their map so it should be on there. I have monitored knock and the bar barely moves on the commander so I think all is good on my end.

Well best recommandation is email your contact at MWR to see what they can do for ya, if you want their map and you paid for it and you have document to prove this they need to either reprogram this PFC or refund your money in full (including shipping). Now if they insist that they did reprogram your PFC, then you need to find a guy with datalogit and pull the numbers to see if it was reprogrammed. If it was not, then you can make them to reimburse you all the cost that associated with the verification of this none re-program.

hmmm....I think someone wants to make some $$ renting out a Datalogit. :gap: haha j/k, wow that was quite a comprehensive recommendation though, but I'm not sure he's on the same page, at least yet.

I have no idea if u guys are talking about me or the one who started this thread. I have a commander and it says i have a map loaded and my car runs great. If your talking to the other guy then ignore this.

Naaa... No need to rent it out I got money :)
Neways he is way too far from me for me to rent it out to him. I am kinda hinting for him to get a datalogit to do this varification himself, if he found MWR did not actually reprogram they will have to: take the datalogit back reimburse the shipping charge and datalogit purchase or give him the datalogit for free :gap: But this is an investment because if they did reprogram the PFC that means he will have to keep that datalogit.
Just to let people know JDM map knocks is because of the fuel they are tuned with, they have way higher octane gas there. If you have major knocking it may be that it still have the JDM maps, I can not say for certain but it is very likely. Now if they loaded their map the only way to confirm is compare your map to someone who also have MWR map, and that you need a datalogit to pull the numbers out.
