Guys, do any of you know if there is a product out there that can be sprayed by a bodyshop onto the front bumper in order to better protect it from road debris?
Thinking something along the lines of a liquid plastic material that dries clear and in a thin layer.
Anything?!?

damn, i used to remember a product that acts like a super thick clear coat and it protects it from light debris and scratches....i think it was something that luxury cars use. i'll search for it and post up if i can find anything.

Yeah, I have been told about that stuff too (ClearBra). I just did not know how well it would conform to the bumper and what not. Seems more like a "cover" than a "liquid plastic" that dries to the form of the bumper.
JDM-Style, I will look forward to your response.
Meanwhile, I will go and browse ClearBra's website.

Plus, I do not have a stock bumper. So I guess I would have to buy that ClearBra stuff in bulk if I went that route.

its like thick tape, that is applied by using some liquid and a heat gun. he used a card to squeeze out all the water. it took about week and a half to cure completely. the installer said he did alot of front bumpers on ferraris and lambos , etc. its really good stuff and if u decide to ever take it off just peel it off. it also comes with a five year warranty against fading, debris damage, etc.

It better because it is not cheap. I have alos heard of this stuff fading on a few Mercedes and BMW's so keep that in mind. It may or may not be something that happens down the road.
