a) where do i get this from...went to autometer site..didn't see where to order
b) is this even necessary if i have an auto?
c) what gauges should i put in there?
need opinions....

a) a good place to check is any import type mag..ie import tuner/scc/turbo...etc
b) its definitly not necessary if you're stock or not running some type of forced induction. it would really make you a poser to have a boost gauge or exhaust temp gauge when you have nothing but a cai.
c) If you do have a cai and exhaust, an a/f ratio gauge wouldn't hurt, thats what im getting, and from what ive heard the one from autometer sucks, so im getting mine from R1 although im getting my pod from autometer. if you want two then i would say maybe oil temp. correct me guys if there would be a better choice for a non-induction car.

of course my car deffinatly ain't gonna be stock..i just want to know wat i should get when i get my stuff.... my car is a non-induction. i have apex'i n1 exhausts coming in...gettin ready to dual it out...injen shortram already in...and that's about it...so i guess i mght go for...exhaust temp? and wat else?

although exhaust temp will work, you don't need to monitor it without force induction...really,... like i said before, a air/fuel ratio gauge would be a + as it would let you know if you're running rich or lean. too much of either isn't good. But if it floats your boat heres another oar. Get what pleases you no matter what anyone says.

I'll see if I can get one together....but if you want one right now there is a DCM member who is selling his with A/F and volt gauge and shift light.
Check the for sale forum and the DC Metro. His SN is gt2gts

Mine was 90 for the pod, 45 for the A/F, 35 for the Volt, so you are looking into about 170.00 before shipping.

well in reponce to the volt meter question if you have the AEM alt pulley you get to see how much the alt is accually charging, since i have a pumpin stereo with the aem pulley i added a volt guage after the oil pressure guage went out.

For those of us planning for forced induction what gauges should we have? And does anybody know if they make a carbon fiber full replacement gauge pod?

well, I got my pillar casing from autometer, and as a matter of fact, I have the exact CarbonFiber Ultralite gauges in that pic. Except mine are oil press and volt. Got everything from autometer online for like 130. And I have an automatic. Its basically for look.

I have pics but dont kno how to post them. show me how to or i can send them to somebody for them to host. it looks so much better with the full REPLACEMENT!!!!
