View Full Version : Good Enough For My Baby?

Currently I'm using woolite to wash my car, I friends dad owns a 911 and thats what they told him to use at the dealer. I figure if its good enough for a 911, then its good enough for my celica. If you think this is bad, please post a suggestion. Thanks

What a minute, isn't Wool lite dishwashing soap??? If it is, don't let it touch the paint of your car. Dishwashing soaps are formulated to cut throught grease so it was strip your paint of wax and natural oils of the paint. Go to Walmart and get the Meguiar's car wash soap.

No, its a mild clothing soap, made for sweaters and other wool items.. Its very mild so it won't hurt wool so my guess it wont hurt paint?

LOL, I guess your right then, if its good enought for a 911, why not a Celica?

Actually, there is no way to say for certain if it is a good product to use on your car because it isn't designed to be used on a car. I say just buy a product that was made for cleaning cars just to be sure. I would reccomend Meguires products or, if you want to spend the money, Zaino.

I say don't use woolite on your car. Thats what I used on my old caddilac for about 7 years. And well by the end the paint plain sucked. It was even getting some corrosion in some places. It will strip your wax off.

hahaha yah some guy said wool lite f(_)cked his car up good. if ur dad can afford to buy u a celica and a 911... go spend the freakin 5 dollars for meguairs soap....smart GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha....you think Woolite is bad? We once washed a VW Beetle with COMET!!! yes Comet!!!

To me all Meguiars products are the best. They smell good to!!
