where would be an adaquete place in the trunk area to ground a 600 watt amp?

Just look for a bolt, unscrew it, crimp a 2 prong connector to the end of your wire, stick it between the bolt and body of the car (if there is paint on the body you might wanna sand it off to allow better contact between the metal), and then screw the bolt back down over it to hold it in place. I got a couple amps in my old corona (bout 500W RMS worth) and I just ground the things to the seat belt bolts under the back seats, seems to work, no fried or hot wires.

drill a hole in your trunk. be careful not to drill into the fuel tank though.

this is where i grounded too...
the two bolts that are under the plastics toward the front of the trunk where the big metal bump is. there's 2 on each side. those are good i figure since the bolts are real big and there's lots of metal. just make sure to scratch all the paint off so you get a better ground.

I ground it on the middle bolt where the 2 rear seats meet. There's a fat meaty bolt there.
