I didn't used to, but I don't live in California, so I would imagine that you would get revved on a lot more than I did, which was a whole 0 times.;)

i drive a prelude (i'm here because i'm thinking about getting a celica) and i don't speed and drive fairly slow, and a lot of integras and civics glare at me. it's fuggin annoying. so i was just wondering if this happens to you guys.

that pisses me off. that always happens. some fool thought he was all gansterious or something and all of the sudden when i light turned green, he just boned out of no where.. and i didn't even look at him i was looking straight the whole time. and when i try to pass people to get into the other lane, some people just look at me and provoke races..but i just look straight and do my thing. I never got revved at before, although there were times where we could've run. too many cops in the OC though

AH! I HATE THAT! I dont even drive aggressive or anything. My car isnt modified either, just a cf hood scoop and painted front lip. Thats it, and i still get hit up by ricers. Most of the time, i dont even bother.

I just point and laugh when retards rev their motor at me, the friggin idiots. Sometimes I rev my motor back and mock them, but only if I'm feeling saucy. Because, you know, a true test of manhood is a light-to-light street race.

Getting revved at is a daily thing for me. I don't really drive aggressively, but I guess having my exhaust broken off just before the resonator contributes.. it's sooo loud

I was driving down a backroad here and this Infinity zipped out in front of me, but I just hugged around the turn and stuck right behind him...

he then kept trying to race me at every place he could... I wanted to cry since my lil auto sucks in a straightaway

I had a Windstar rev at me once. Dude had kids in the back seat screaming at me. Light turned green and I smoked him, and his kids- didn't even look back to see where he was. Sweet kill for me, F&F story for the kids to tell at school the next day. Everybody was a winner. Oh, but my car wasn't unmodded. I had decals, so I probably provoked him during his midlife crisis.

haha, my uncle revved on some kids in his brand new company truck that had a V8 motor... all because he loved that 'racy' sound it made. (no he didnt race)

everyone wants to race me!!! all I'm trying to do is drive to work and back...so far...a few mini vans (typically white ones), a nissan murano, too many civics to count, a girl spun her tires out one time at a light (she was driving a cavalier) and I still beat her w/ just normal acceleration in my AUTO GTS, I had a 350Z kick my ass (he was like 100 yards in front of me before i even knew what was going on)...some dude in a probe one time in Orlando (I remember him cause he got pissed when I wasn't interested in being his "friend") In general, everyone gets brave. My roommate says I attract crazy people. Many people who don't like the speed I commute at either pull in front of me to act as a traffic control device, or they flip me off (I hate that; why do you flip me off when you get caught being stupid?) I had one woman run out into the road when I was driving down it and stand in front of my car to tell me I was driving too fast (35?). I almost ran her over. I was parked in the front of a gas station one time and this kid came over from the pump island and took a pic of my car. I had another celi guy give me "thumbs up" one time. Girls smile at me all the time when I'm stopped...until they realize I'm not a dude.
To make my long story short...yes, the car attracts attention.

Too bad daddy didnt buy me a car when I was that age...

Sad thing is, the infinity vs the average car in the area? heh... lets put it this way, we had a broken down Lotus Elise in the driveway at the house I rent a room from... H2's are the most common SUV and BMW's are like Civics in most areas.

Gotta love Great Falls...

i usually get revved at by full size pick up trucks and mini vans. the car does get some respect on the road though, i find i allways have a lot of room and can influence the way everyone around me is driving by the way i drive.

I haven't had anyone actually rev their engine at a light, but I do have a couple of people that talk to me at a gas station or in a parking lot wondering about a race.

There is a kid at work who seems to spend a lot of time when he is off work trying to find people with cars that could "smoke me"--not that it would be too hard... His conversations always begin with "Dude, my cousin's friend has this civic/eclipse/integra that would smoke you..." I try to remind him that its just a 4 cyl, I didnt buy the car to autox and I am happy his cousin has so many wonderful friends.

He just bought a stock 88 MR2 that needs a lot of engine work for $800. So far his top speed claim in the car is just under 200 mph--but he claims to have gone 160+ in his stock early 90's Mit Gallant (with a space-saver spare on it no less) too.... I dont think he could get 160 kph with the car in the condition it is in...
