Quite some shiat man. I put down a deposit for this thing 6 weeks ago. It looks like I'm about the only Scion tC buyer who is waitng so long. I've got my financing and even ordered a few parts that I couldnt pass up including a set of VOLK GT-P's and Toyo T1-s tires (which are currently on clearance for only $149!! for 18s')

Anyway if not for the fact that the rep I went through is a fellow Celica owner who was at the Jillians meet, I wouldve gone somewhere else by now. But he's telling me to wait 3 more weeks.

BTW I still have my Celica. I actually had a buyer but opted not to sell because I need a car for work. So basically I'm gonna wait till my car comes in (or close to coming in) and then sell my car. If they have to wait a day or 4 for me to come pick my car up..tough. If there's already 25 or so miles which might indicate a test drive...I'm walking. As I was made to understand, that car was being shipped to the east coast and its coming by trailer. No need for it to be driven.

Soo...does anyone still have a Celica on these boards? :D

I do! i'm still loving it. I had Lindsy fix up a few bugs i had, and now it's running even stronger! he was even afraid to step on the gas all the way hehehe gotta love boost.

Same thing happened with my celica. Because it was one of the first AP celica's in NY (early 2001) I had to wait 3 months for it.

It finally came in and had 5 miles on it. Reason being is that someone has to drive it out of Toyota's factory, to the trailer, off the trailer, onto the boat or whatever, to the trailer again, and to the dealer. Where the dealer probally moves it around the most just because they need to move cars around like crazy. It just makes sense, so dont be intimidated by a low mile number. Be wary if it has 10+ miles. ;)

Congrats... and yes, I still have my Celica. :D But we're a dying breed these days.

I ordered the tC in black sand pearl. I plan on doing the same thing which I had done to my celica with the custom paint that reflects a color off the base color. I'm thinkin of doing a gold pearl which will reflect off the base black color.

Everything in total was running 17,820 because I had the dealer fees and other bullcrap fees waived. Now I'm getting antsy and could very well sell my Celi, wait till spring, then buy one. I hate buying a car in winter only for it to hibernate while its being paid for.
