my moonroof control box has rattling going on. i printed the tsb for it, but cannot figure out how to remove headliner. it says to refer to "2000 MY Celica Repair Manual pages BO-88 to Bo-90" however, for the life of me i cannot figure what what MY Celica Repair Manual is..... can someone explain to me how to remove it? and where can we get urethane sponge pieces?

To remove the headliner, first you need to take off the A pillar plastics. They're just held on by clips.
Next, unscrew the base of the sunvisors. Two screws in each. There's one screw in the clip that holds the sunvisor in place. Remove that, then get some pliers (preferrably locking pliers) and pull downwards as hard as you can. They're held in very tightly.
Then, take out the screw in the moonroof/dome light panel. Pop the panel off, then remove the screw in the metal housing underneath.
Finally, pull off the trim around the moonroof opening.
Now all you need to do is pull the headliner down and around the window weatherstripping. This will only release the front half of the headliner, but it will give you enough room to work with.
I already tried the TSB, but apparently there is another source of rattling up there. :(
You can probably just use regular weatherstripping foam with the adhesive backing sold at hardware stores.
