Pics? The black glue is very hard to remove. Heating it up makes it slightly easier, but it's still a PITA. :thumbdown

^ Okay please tell me it's possible....
It's like this.. ill post pics later but imagine this. YOu know when you put on a bumper sticker or something on for a long time.. and then you decide to take it off.. After you take it off, there's like goo over it. Yeah it's like that. It's not thick but it's like spread out over the places that i touched w/ the mitten when i was pulling them apart. Tell me it's posssible!! :(

I use brush cleaner to get the stuff off of the screwdrivers I use to pry open the lights. It takes quite some time to get it all off, though, since the glue is very strong.

Goof Off will take it off but be aware that if you use to much of it then it will mess the clear plastic up. Like it will create a nice nasty haze that cannot be removed if you use too much of it. Goof Off acts like Mineral Spirits on plastic it will actually melt it. I dunno what to tell you man. I suggest a hair dryer and a plastic scraper to get the majority of it off and then if you have very little left after that then use just a little bit of Goof Off to remove the remaining residue. Be aware that this will not be an easy task whatsoever. This is why I have not done mine yet. Good luck.

heat up the glue (on the lens) and remove it using a credit card type card, grocery discount cards work good and are plentiful...
yes practice with heat, take some expoxy and put it on some plexi, and try differnt materials to remove it, once you find one that works, use it...

go to auto zone and get some bumper sticker remover. That stuff worked for getting even military stickers off my windows

thanks i think im gonna try the tar remover or the goo gone thing.. But i really don't want my plastic to haze. Don't tell me i have to put it in the oven again cause im sick of that. Im either gonna use a solvent or use a hairdryer to heat it. And also try that autozone bumper sticker thing.
Maybe this will help : (sorry no pics cause i don't have a digital cam) but imagine this... i put a bumper sticker on the headlights and when i pealed it was like "gooey" and it stayed there. I can't rub it off. Like that. Or tar.. JDM-Style told me to get the tarminator cause he used it to get tar off his car and it worked w/o damage on his paint.. SIgh im gonna put everything back together now.
