Hey guys I just have a couple of questions about installing springs.
1) Do I need an impact wrench? Can I do this with a normal rachet, or are the bolts on too tight?
2) I should cut the bumpstops in half...correct? Well, which part exactly is the bumpstop?? I cant seem to find the bumpstop in the installation diagrams....maybe it's refered to as someting else.
I would really apprieciate it if someone could give me some answers. Thanks a lot!:)

1. The nut on top of the strut is the hardest to get off. I ended up just carrying the strut to a shop just fot those nuts. You might be able to get them off. Other areas, you shouldnt have a problem.
2. Once you take out the spring, you'll see the bump stop. Its an orange rubber peice of junk. I dont know what kind of springs you bought, but my springs came with new bump stops. You might have to cut it if its too much of a drop.
I have just finish TRD Stuct/Spring Installation, the top picture is the bump stop that came with TRD, the lower one is the OEM....
As you can see, the new one is only about half of the size of the old one, just cut your OEM bump stop in half to match the size of TRD bump stop. However, keep the tougher half...

Yes, its possible to do it with a hand ratchet.... although its kinda deadly (without a spring compressor, but who needs one anyways...right...hehehe) me and my friends always lower cars with hand tools, and without spring compressors... we're just poor :)
