View Full Version : front GTS stock speakers wiring?!??! help

Hi
The front stock speakers are connected with 4 wires in total..
two are top...two at bottom. I replace it with my alpine 2 way speaker and connect the wires at bottom.. Is this right? or should I have connect to the wires on the top?

the top ones are blue and white
bottom ones are red and black.

i used the red and black.....

With the stock premium stereo system there are actually 2 separate speakers there, thus the 2 pair of wires. You are installing a single 2-way speaker. As long as you are getting sound from it I don't see how it would matter which pair you chose to use.

damn Brad you are everywhere....finally got all my shtuff together (except the sound dampening) so I'll be installing this weekend...finally!
