i was wonderin if the fuel door light is supposed to light up at night

The fuel door indicator isn't a light. It's just printed onto the gauge face so new owners will know which side they need to pull up with at a gas station.

i thought my car was broken the first time i noticed it there. and then i realized it wasnt a light...
