anyone going to the Long Beach GP?

I was thinking of going to it, and is anyone going up/down to long beach to see it? Also what days are the celeb. celica race and which day is the CART race?

Well I live in Long Beach so I'll be there. Well correct me if I'm wrong anyone, I believe the Celica Celeb race, is on that Saturday, and the CART race is on Sunday. Well I hope that answers your questions.

Got my tickets already. Goin on Sat just to see the Celebrity race and on Sunday for the CART race. May go friday as well if I decide to call in sick or just walk over there from work during my lunch. I go down shoreline drive after work every day going home just to punch it down the track. Everything is pretty much up now. Great time for a photos down there with your cars.

wish i could, but i'll be in vegas. i've seen cart races at fontana and laguna seca but not long beach. i love that long stretch right after the hairpin turn. it's almost a drag strip the way they exit of that turn cause they're going so slow.

For Sat just get general admission. But for sunday get reserve seating. This year I'm going to be sitting near turn one.

!!!!!! tickets for the CART race are $78!!!! CRAP, I wanted to go satruday too, but I am busy, but I didn't think the CART tickets would be so much. I've never gone to any CART race before (heck I don't think I've been to any race before). What is the difference between gen. admin. and reserved? Also will the tickets be sold out soon?

$78??? I paid $64 for Sunday reserve on the top half of the grandstand and but have free Fri & Sat tickets (go to your Toyota dealer and ask them for tickets) I think they are about 50 if you want to sit lower in the grandstands.

Gen admission just gets you into the area since you it is all fenced. Its first come first serve on the only Gen admission grandstand in the area or you can just camp out in an area you can see. Besides there is so much to see in the area.

Reserved you get a numbered seat in the grandstand of your choice.

I suggest getting the $20 for the Cart paddock pass. Its worth it plus you get to mingle with the drivers too.
