What's going on with the prices of hood scoops these days????
To be fair to everyone I'm going to leave specific business names out of it.
All I hear is how bad and how long it takes to get them from a certain place.. and now they raise their prices? This in turn causes a chain reaction to make another company raise their prices. Then, to be competitive another one raises their prices..
That first company who raised their prices should be shot.. Greedy b4stards! They know they were in high demand, once a shop is tooled up to make the hoodscoops the prices should be going down not up.. when you're selling more the prices should go down not up.
Sorry, I just had to vent. I don't know very much about mold costs/upkeeps so I may not be 100% correct but I know I'm correct about one thing... what they're doing sucks!

Actually his price is no longer $100 shipped. It's now $140 shipped.

Don't worry I'm still going to stay a loyal customer. The one I got from you guys before was an excellent fit. And you treat your customers with respect and contact them right away not like the other place out there :P
I just hope you can still hook me up.

Take ECON in skool then you will know why the raise the price. You are looking at this topic as a consumer point of view. If you are looking at a seller point of view you'll know why they raise the price. Im with you buddy but you can't blame them for trying to Max. there profits right. I hate them all damm greddy bastard. KILL KILL KILL hehehe j/k

Uhm in reference to the guy complaining about the prices raising, its simple supply and demand. More people want something, the price raises, dont you remember your economics class. It's just like american flags after 9/11, more people wanted them, so the prices went up- its nature and just.
Anyways, is a hoodscoop mainly for looks or does it do other stuff, and if it does other stuff, what and where can i get one?

might as well buy the hood.. www.importfan.com sells c-one scoop for like $200 plus ridiculous shipping cost... sux.. MB price is good but they deliver too late... it be better for you east coast people to drive to walnut and pick it up from MB or Importfan..
August 2001 - I got a Painted / Shipped Scoop from MB for $148 on a 'group-price'. BTW it was here within 1 week from the time I sent my money. (not exactly slow for my taste)
What is the price today?

How could I remember my economics class when I never took economics? I guess you're right about supply & demand.
It still sucks though!!!

That was awhile ago, I believe I was the one who did that group buy. Yes it sucks that prices shot up, but then you can wait until demand slow down and price drops. Which is also part of the economics class mentioned above, just a suggestion.
