Changing auto to stick?

Is it possible to change an A/T to an M/T? I have a GTS with the sportshift and I was wondering if it would be cheaper and/or better to do a trade in or change the transmission (if it's possible).

It would be cheaper to trade in, but you might loose some money in the transaction, but go for it.

I'd say trade in your auto. It'll cost **** loads of money to make it a stick. I was considering converting mine to stick, but it would have cost too much. I was going to trade mine in for a stick, but I heard the 2002's are much slower. Screw that idea!

so a 2002 would be a bad idea for a trade in (trading to stick)? at about how many miles would be a good trade in? I went to an online blue book and saw that i'd get basically nothing compared to what i paid even though i have such low mileage and it's basically brand new.

would i have to take my intake and TRD exhaust and springs out to trade it in?

You would probably have to bring it back to stock. Look into getting a 2000 or 2001 instead. Might get a good deal and not have to pay too much outta pocket.
