Engine washing w/ water what to cover up.

can someone post a pic of the engine bay and circle what to cover up to spray wash your engine?
I've heard that some weren't able to start up the car after they washed their engine.

i don't reconmend you wash ur engine with water or a hose from ur house. my friend got his engine cleaned with a steam system at some car place, i think that would be safer and more effective.

If you have a newer car (which I assume you do) you can get by with a spray bottle of water and some degreaser. Just dont get anything wet like the alternator, or other common sence parts.
