If you're looking for extra power for daily driving, then I would suggest GT kit stage 1. Very lovely power curve and gives lots of power low end, great for that extra power when overtaking someone quickly.
As you might know, C2power has great customer service and ships out fast. Some got their kit within 7 days of order. No missing parts complaint have yet been given I think.

It might lag a little bit more, ofcourse its not going to be as fast as a manual tranny, but that kind of goes without saying. I dont think anybody on this board has a turbo auto, so you are probably going to have a hard time finding a really specific answer. Id say it would lag more and it wouldnt be as fast, but how much more and less I cant really say.

i not looking for too much power just alittle more and what do you mean by lag ? thanks John
Well, I haven't heard about someone with a C2Power turbo kit on an auto GT yet.
But I expect good oppurtunities for it, because it will give you great low end and mid end power. Also high end, but not that much as a bigger turbo of course. And auto's will not redline right?
I think it would do great on an auto. I'm not sure if the auto tranny is weaker then normal tranny. We've made a consensus on this board that the breaking point of a manual transmission would eb at 250lb-ft torque.
Stage 1 c2power kit wouldn't make that much, you should start worrying if you have stage 2 like me :gap:

Well as far as I know the auto tranny would act better with the turbo. You would need prolly different map done on the fuel management. I just thinking how nice can it be when your turbo just spools and spools and doesnt have to slow down at each gear shift.
We have fitted our kit on both the auto and the manual tranny cars, but we personally never tested and auto with our kit.

I think that azntwins had a SF turbo kit on his auto GT. I wouldn't suggest buying an SF kit but you could pm him and see how it worked. Both the SF and C2 stage one kits on a GT would produce about the same whp so he could give you a good idea of wwhat it drives like. The auto should have no problem handling the hp from a turbo.

^^Talk to Gaspar directly. As everyone else has stated, C2 customer service is excellent! The best I have ever experienced in this industry - right up there with my other sponsor, Trial Japan.
As for a turbo in general on an automatic, you should do as mtskibum16 suggested and PM AznTwins. They were, as far as I'm aware, one of the only members with a turbo on an automatic.
As for upgrades, assuming that the C2 Power Stage I kit will work on an auto, which there really should be no reason why not (Gaspar will have to confirm.....the only thing that usually ends up being a problem is piping routes), then it is a "bolt and run" kit.
For more fun, you might want to look into upgrading your torque converter. Check out www.levelten.com. They have a kit for 00+ Celica's.
And, as another member said, you should have a very fun car to drive after the turbo install - especially for the fact that the turbo will loose less pressure in between shifts.
Good luck...post up or PM if you have any more questions.
