Total newb question... everyone seems to want urethane over fiberglass body kits... whats the reason? Im assuming more flexible/don't damage as easily.
Any other reasons?

yeah urethane is more flexible. when u hit soemthing, the urethane will most likely will bend while fiberglass will shatter.

Fiberglass sucks big floppy donkey ****. I switched all mine out to urethane cause the fiberglass gets stress cracks from the celica's very common body flex problem. So here is what I think of fiberglass :fawk: .

Urethane will also sag over time, but I still like it better.

Its all a trade off. Urethane is extremely heavy! If you get some crazy kit like blitz in urethane you will most likely have to install some kinda extra support to hold up your front bumper. It sags and over time will pull on the metal sheets where the screws hold the bumper by the wheel whell. Fiberglass is notorious to crack under any pressure. If there is a sudden temperature change you can cause the fiberglass kit to crack. Its a pain, but the kits are much lighter. I heard there is another plastic material out there that is as light as fiberglass but still has the elasticity of polyurethane but I'm not sure if anyone provides any kits out of such material for the celica.

Urethane is the way to go...just look at some wrecked Celica pics that had fiberglass fronts. Even a small hit will FUBAR one. A urethane kit will hold up like a stock bumper will
