I rode in the new tiburon last night and I have to say it was pretty damn slow. I really like the new styling and the interiors are very nice and fine quality. But I don't see one taking a GT-S w/ comparable drivers.

Both cars receiving fours stars is hardly spanking. Considering the base 190 VVTL-i (which is more like our grand USDM GT-S) got 4.5 stars, draw your own conclusions.

YOu know? I really doubt that. I've read other reviews that said that they were rather disappointed with the new Tiburon. I mean for an engine that size from their mini suv, you would expect more. I don't see a problem. It weighs more it isn't as powerful per weight aspect, so don't worry. Be happy!

It didnt get spanked at all. The Celica was way quicker to 110, 6 secs difference between the two cars is alot.. and the only reason the Hyundai Coupe got the same score was because it was cheaper (great value for money).

2.7 litre v6 and that speed, its dissapointing, but its good value and looks nice imho. I think a guy down our road has one.

I know it didn't get spanked. I was just shocked that they picked the Hyundai over the Celica, based on it's "all-around appeal."

Saw my first one on the street the other day. Dare i say it looked sweet.

Yeah I agree it does look nice.. much better than the previous models. I guess that what Italian designers can do for you. All round appeal Im sure it is a kewl car, but for speed + drive the Celica kicks its ass.
