Is there any way to stop the vibration of the rear winshield when I have a sub in the trunk?? Will dynomat help this at all? and if it will, how much would I need and where would i buy it?

also, what does everyone use to stop the vibration of the license plate?

thanks for the help

i put a crapload of foam weatherstripping all over the back liscense plate -> thats nice and quiet now.

My rear window vibrates like its about to crack sometimes though, I have no clue how to fix that.

The only way to stop the window itself from vibrating is to turn down the bass. Your subs are pushing a lot of air volume and making the glass flex with each beat. Normally this isn't a problem until the glass breaks, but in windows with the defrosting coils or internal antennas it becomes visibly annoying.

slimGTS,
what kinda sub u running?

This may or may not be obvious to some.. but I have my subs firing up out of the wheel well.. and they move a crapload of air. If you just crack your windows, it'll allow some of the air displaced by the subs to move around a little better.. which will put less stress on the rear windshield and whatever rattles back there.

Turning up my subs with the windows shut is not an option for me.. sounds like **** when i do that :D

for the license plate, just peel the back off some dynamat, and stick the plate onto the dynamat, and cut around the plate. it won't rattle after that.
