hi

is it possible to distinguish between generation one tyc taillights and generation 2?.... how can i distinguish without installing them cuz i don t wanna buy themand then when i install them i find out that they are generation 1.

I think the only way you can really find out is by installing them. Ofcourse, tyhe driverside has the gap at the top.

Yes, also I read that the back of the lamp housing on the Gen 2 is black VS. chrome on the Gen 1's.
