I'm planning on getting the front strut brace and prolly a back one too. I was wondering if anyone knows which braces are made of what, maybe an approximate weight for each piece, and the diameter of the tube.

After going to my first SCCA event, I basically want the lightest but most appreciable suspension difference. I don't wanna buy a chicken bone of a strut brace, but I don't want a tree trunk either :)

thanx in advance for your help

I would say the lightest would prolly be the Tanabe SUSTEC front bar. It's hollow, but extremely rigid. I hefted a RMM bar in a shop here and was surprised how damned heavy it was for a simple strut bar. I'm not sure how heavy the Racinjason's bars (newcelica.org bars) are. The Tanabe bar is really light, believe me, I have one.

Made a helluva a difference, fits great, looks great, but best of all WORKS great. :)
