If you own a VIS CF hood, please READ AND RESPOND

I need to know if you can replace the hood scoop on the VIS Racing Carbon Fiber hood. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Definitely!! VIS hoods are made w/ stock specs. and center scoop can be removed.

TRDXYR- I'm guessing you have one? I just got an email back from VIS saying that you I won't be able to remove the scoop... I'm hoping that you are right and they were just being morons. I really want the hood, but I love the raised scoops, thats why i bought my Fiberglass one...now i need to do the switch... By the way, i'm not saying you are wrong, i'm just going with what VIS told me.

Any other Testimonies besides TRDXYR?

i'm not sure about VIS, but i think the only one that makes a functionable hood scoop that can be removed is fiber images, i orderede my cf hood from them, paid a bit extra to get the CF c-one scoop with the hood (yup, they have that now)
still have to wait about a month for it :angry:

I am pondering the whole removable hood scoop issue too. I could buy it used off my friend.
