How tall are you?

Thinking of getting a celi and trying to see how or is it possible for a taller person to live with a celi. I can fit in it but not sure still....

I'm 6.5 and i sat in it ok. What about the rest of you.

6'5" here too, no problems whatsoever, just recline and cruise. It's the roomiest sports car I looked at.

6.5 eh? And everything is fine? I really didn't get a good enough look around at the inside because the sales woman was fine as hell so i was checking her out and her low cut shirt. But the celi is hella nice inside.

The seat felt supportive but i didnt get ot mess around with it to see how comfortable I could make it for me. But like I said I did fit so Acilec tell me more about how you fit in your gt. Oh and they are selling a black gts for 19k and the gt i was in was a carbon blue @ 21k Kinda up in the air on which to get. The gts had 35,000 miles on it though.

Any other words of advice are wanted..

Hey man,

yeah, I played around with the seat position for a while to find my ultimate set-up. I basically have my seat all the way back and reclined so that my head is about where the support column between the side windows are. I have my mirrors set way out to see my blind spot. This way, my legs are totally comfortable, still in the sports car "stretched" position, and my hands reach the stearing wheel perfectly. I'm not reclined as far as looking ghetto either. It works man, just play around with it. The pedals are a bit small for my feet, so I'll be buying larger pedals soon. Hope that helps. Seat belt is no problem either. Get the shoulder straps, they make it a bit more comfortable with the seat so far back.

Also, I think the seats are very comfortable when reclined a little like I have it. Don't know about the leather ones though. I've got the normal ones.

5'7" and I love it. I have to raise the seat to the highest position though to see over the wheel and my seat is far up so I can reach the pedals. Being short is not good.

6' 7.5" it's a tight fit with a moonroof, but it's worth it. If you wanna sit up straight good luck, your head sticks out a bit, but if you scooch down and leanback and put your seat back it's cool. if all else fails just lean to the right a little. :) -=love my celi=-

6'4" here...I think the celica is perfect. I dont have a moonroof but my hair brushes the top sometimes, thats about it. Just move the seat all the way back, adjust the steering wheel to the top and slighty recline the seat. The celica is a 3-seater with me in it...no one can fit behind me.:)

I'm 5'4 and i fit perfect.. hehehe well of course. But my boyfriend is about 6'3-6'4 and he drives it all the time.. he has no probs fitting at all. I just don't see how some people say they don't fit, i mean are you trying to sit STRAIGHT up? i don't even sit straight up despite how short i am, i can't stand to sit straight up.. i mean i don't drive all laid back looking ghetto or whatever but i sit a little reclined... actually my boyfriend and i sit with the same reclined setting we just move the seat forward and back when switching drivers.

I'm 6'5", and I am very uncomfortable driving the Celica with a sunroof. My back starts to hurt from crouching down so my head doesn't hit the roof. I don't like to be leaned back when I'm driving. I'd rather be more upright, do I don't have to reach for the steering wheel. You have more control that way. You don't see many race drivers reclined do you? I didn't fit in a Teg with a sunroof either. That's why I got one without... ;)

5' 11" and my car w/ sunroof fits me like a glove. I sit the way yakko described. My friend is 5' 7" and she sits a little straighter than I do. Her hair hits the headliner every now and then over bumps. :D

5'9". I fit fine until I put the race helmet on, then I don't fit. I have the seat way forward (short legs) and reclined far enough to fit the helmet. Almost. I'd go back more, but then my arms wouldn't reach the wheel and shifter well. I can't conceive of buying a car with less headroom than I have now! Even the MRS has more rrom even with the top up!

To be honest with you, it really depends on your body shape.

I am 6'4.5" and I can't fit without sitting closer to the steering wheel than I would want and leaning the seat WAY back. This is really uncomfortable on long trips and I have had back and neck problems as a result.

I have a long torso and not so long legs (for someone my height).

On the other hand, I have a friend that is AT LEAST as tall as me, but can sit the back up straight and is perfectly comfortable. He has long legs and a shorter body.

I test drove a model without a moonroof and it was much better (mine has a moonroof).

Food for thought.....

The best approach is to test drive one and try to get the seat in a comfortable position. I have tried everything and rarely am able to get comfortable.

i'm 5'8" and i have the seat low and i'm perfect but i need a shorter SHIFTER!!! but stevens creek has one left and wont sell it to me cuz i have 2002 and it has to have the wider shift gates... d@mn them!!!!! oh and i cant see my hood scoop i'm laid back so low

true, race car drivers are not reclined.. but i'm not talking WAY back there where your arm is completely stretched to the steering wheel.. i'm only talking slightly reclined.. i can't sit straight up.. i used to in our 86' accord dx.. but it was mostly because the car was bigger.. but the way the celica is i can lean slightly back but my arms aren't straining for the steering wheel.. my elbows are slightly bent.. i've raced on road course's with the seat exactly how i drive daily and i had no problems.. full control and comfort.
