Toyo T1-S

After many happy miles with Yoko A520s, I finally gave in to all the hoopla over the Bridgestone RE730s and bought a set. I hated them. Noisy, non-linear, a chuffing noise under cornering. Now, it seems that the Toyo T1-S is tha runaway favorite withe Miata folks. Should I listen to them and take the plunge?

I don't care about anything but dry performance.

You switched from one mid-range tire to another with the re730s. I'm sure premium range tires including Bridgestone's SO3 Potenzas and the Toyo T1S among others will be better. Falken's Azenis model is supposed to be almost as good as race tires and are street legal. I think they're cheaper than the Toyos, but I'm not sure about the tread wear comparison though.
