I just have a simple question.

I have a damaged Carbon Fiber hood and I was wondering if those material are repairable ?

Another damaged CF hood? I highly doubt CF is repairable. It's an intertwined sheet of strands. How would one go about repairing that without showing that it was repaired? Best bet would be to get it fixed at a body shop (with fiberglass) and have them repaint over the whole thing, or just the sides. Depending on where the damage is.

there is no way to repair the weave if its broken...you can find lines on your hood and paint over it you can body work it the same as you deal with fiberglass...fiberglass and carbon fiber are in essance the same thing only carbonfiber is slightly stronger but can be painted the same as anything else....i will be posting soon pictures of my carbon invader 2 hood that was dropped before delivered to me that i'm painting once i fix the body work on it....(helps being a body tech)
