hey guys,
i am installing GTS fogs on my GT.
They are physcially on :p but i got stuck on wiring them.
I tried hard to pull the thingy out under the left side on the driver's kick panel to wire the relay. how's it held? damn tight
2nd thing is i found the passenger side harness without problem.
but i cannot find the driver side one. is it possible that 1 harness is missing while 1 comes with the car? how should i rewire it if i couldn't find it? just wire them in parallel?
Thank you for your inputs!

You should PM the person who mentioned that.

I had a plain jane GT to start with, and all the wiring was there on mine. I removed the front bumper and installed them. I will try to get a picture for you tomorrow, but remove the panel near the drivers side left foot (right below the shifter) and there should be an open spot in the circuit box. I will post a picture of where to plug the relay in. Also, Since it didn't have the light switch built for the foglights, I just jumped the wires (again I will let you know which wires when I get a picture) and put in a on/off switch. They are wired to turn off with the key being turned off, but they can be switched off when the car is on as to not blind everyone driving during the day.

Please post pics when you can because I am interested in this also.

now i cut the wire behind the 'thingy' so i am set with the relay
the passenger side is now on so i think my wiring is correct
what left is the damn driver side harness
i took the bumper off the second time and i still don't get it
does it run down to the front with the horn/side marker wiring?
i tried to follow that bunch of wire for few times...

Hope this helps:
My dad is an electrical troubleshooter for Toyota, so I am in luck with my help :-)
First, make sure there is a fuse in the fuse panel near the passengers left foot. They are labeled on the inside of the panel, so make sure it is in there.
Secondly, the factory wiring harness includes the fog light hookups. They may be taped up high near the opening of the hood, but it should be there as there was not a separate wiring harness for the GT foglights.
Thirdly, you will need a resitor/transformer/whatever you call it. It is circled in the picture I uploaded(first pictures, so bear with me) This is located by the drivers left foot in the kickpanel.
Lastly, I hooked up a on/off switch without spending the additional $100+ for a new switch. It is hooked to the wire harness attached right under the steering wheel.

This should be the clip that snaps directly onto the fog light.http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/17706Wire_Harness.jpg

If you run the on/off switch to the wires indicated, the the following should be true:
1) fog lights only work on low beam, not high beam, like the factory
2) They will normally not run during the day, as they are wired into the daytime running lights, so they will only kick on when the cpu registers it is dark enought to kick on the lights.
3) When the key is turned off the fog lights will turn off even if the switch is in the "on" position (keeps from running the battery down or accidentally leaving them on).
4) If you want to turn the fog lights on during the day just turn the factory (non-foglight headlight switch from the factoy) and the foglights will turn on.
Anyone is welcome to use any of this information if they wish for a technical article or anything similar.

i went thru this wire i think it's for the horn?
there's no orange/blue wire there...
does that mean my car didn't come with the harness?
or the wire is running with the other bunches? is it possible?
thank you so much!

I have no idea what color the wires are. I just know the clip was grey on my car that hooked to the plug on the back of the fog lights.
