Rims

Does anyone know if Motegi Racing rims are good quality? I know nothing about rims. I was thinking about buying some but wondered if they are good. Any imput would be nice. Thanks

I'm a big quality whore. To me quality=Volk, SSR, BBS, and OZ
Motegi are made by American Racing Equipment other wise known as ARE. Think cheap alloys, poor castings, and heavy. But they look good. If all you want is looks they're ok. But they're not anywhere near the quality of a forged wheel from Volk or SSR or spun cast wheels from BBS and the super trick aluminum titanium alloy OZ uses on the superleggera.

where's the best place to buy SSR's on the internet?

I like tirerack. A lot of places that sell grey market SSR's don't give you the hub centric rings they come with, the SSR valve stems and caps and the lug nuts. I lust for the SSR Competition in 15".....drool, only 9lbs.
