ok heres the thing. Last week on monday(03/25) i went to MBauto to get myelf a kaminari kit but with WW side skirts. They said that they had the kam front and back but couldnt give me the sides yet. They said they would have them by friday(03/29) or monday (yesterday.) I didnt have a problem since i got a good deal on the kit, plus monday would be alright to pick up the kit and bring it to my friends dads body shop so he could have it done within the week or something.

So thursday(03/28) rolls by and i give them a call just to make sure everythings gonna be OK. The female receptionist picks up and i ask her if my kit is ready/will be ready. She tells me the same deal. They have the kam front and back, but no WW sides yet. She then put me on hold and talked to her manager (Min.) She reassures me that the kit will be ready 100% by monday.

So yesterday (Monday) i call them up at 11 AM. Min tells me that they dont have them yet and to call back at 2 PM. So i call back at 2, and the female receptionist says that they are out trying to get the sides for me and to call back at 4. I call back at 4:30 and they said they still dont have them... She told me that they fould a manufacturer that has them, but they were already closed - so i would have to wait till tuesday (today) to get them. She also told me that they were going to get the delivery guy to go pick it up in the morning.

This kind of upset me cause they assured me that i would have it for SURE by monday. I dont know if they were pulling my chain or not, but do manufacturer's really close earlier than 5 PM?

Anyway so today is Tuesday. I give MBauto a call at 1 PM. The female receptionist tells me that she doesnt know the status of the side skirts, and that nobody else that is there has a clue. She says that the people who WOULD know anything reguarding my sides would be in the office withing 15 minutes. I tell her i'll call back in 30 (just to be safe.) I end up calling back in 45 minutes.

I ask the male receptionist weither or not my WW sides came in yet. He tells me that they currently have NO WW ANYTHING. Of course i'm confused and asked if MY WW sides would come in today. He said that they were getting a shipment at the END OF THE DAY (6pm) and he wasnt sure if any WW parts will be coming in with the shipment.

I thought to myself "this is fawking GHEY!" - first they tell me monday for sure and dont come through - then they said tuesday morning/afternoon when in actuality they get their shipment at the end of the day (6 pm)

So i told him this is getting pretty ridiculous. I told him that i would rather go pickup my side skirts myself from the manufacturer! He says that they cant do that cause the manufacturer wont give parts to anyone except them. So i asked if maybe this could be arrange, because i was getting restless.

He told me he doesnt know if thats possible and would have to talk it over with his manager... but heres the funny part - MIN WASNT EVEN GONNA COME INTO THE OFFICE TODAY! Not until AFTER they close! So he told me that he couldnt tell me anything until MIN get's back....

Now im just sitting here with my thumb in my ass waiting for things to clear! I would go get it or wait till 6, but I CANT. I have other plans and its not like i can just wait around for THEM. This really pisses me off. This week is spring break for me (im in hs) and i was planning to get everything done by the time i get back to school... This seems to be messing up my schedule... Dammit dammit DAAAMMMIT!!

shoulda checked out the buyer/feedback forum (i posted about my transaction through them)...though i wouldve thought that it would be easier for you since yor local to them....

hey box....i TOTALLY feel you. it's not MBauto's problem. it's WW.

i ordered my front lip 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn;t come yet. it is on CRAZY backorder. There is a high demand for WW kits these days, and they can't keep up. As of now...i still do not know if my front lip came in yet. i don't want to call in nemore. just keep waiting. don't blame mbauto. blame WW. They are SLOW AS F$#$.

Yea i WOULD blame WW if mbauto told me how they are on backorder and stuff, but they didnt. They kept telling it "its coming - its coming" when it really wasnt... Thats why i blame MB.

That's the truth. They deal with a wholesaler. Thus, the do not pay sales tax. Unless you have filed IRS form SS4 (application for a federal employer identification number) and the applicable CA state forms, you CAN NOT buy from the wholesaler. So that wasn't BS.

People are entitled to take time off from work you know. Maybe he had something like a doctor's appointment or some personal business to attend to.

I understand the timing thing...you don't want to have to deal with this stuff while you are in school. That's fair. But cut the guy a break, he works hard. Patience is a virtue...your stuff will get there...complaining will not make it arrive any faster. Min will take care of you. Things happen, you know. You just had bad luck that's all...I had to wait 2 and half months for my hoodscoop...but I did get it and I completely understood why it took so long.

man.....mostly every place u order from will say that to keep u from canceling your order they will say today...tommorrow..next week...and so on....just like my rmm wing i got from titan motorsports...i mean i dont like to be lied 2...just tell me its gonna be a month or so..not its gonna shipped out tommorrow...but hey hope it works out

seriously though, you cant set your watch by what they say. Things go down in the aftermarket industry. These people try to please their customers. You will get your sides.

man i fukin hate that shyt. i with you. just tell me how long its gonna be. freakin people and the best part is you know there lying. i just tell em straight up look i need it by this date or i don't buy here they straighten up real quick.

hey everyone. I'm b0x's brother. He had some things to attend to so thats why i ended up checking on his order for him. He understands if things go down, but he just doesnt like to be lied to. They told him it would be ready FOR SURE on monday. then it wasnt. Then they told him it would be ready today because they found a manufacturer who had it and were going to have the delivery guy pick it up the morning.

And like my brother said, he called them today - and the guy told him that they were getting a shipment later today when they were closing. That didnt happen either. Because i just called them and they said that the shipment "wasnt coming through." and "it should be coming in tomarrow"

This isnt my investment - it is my brothers he already payed for the full kit. But i would sure be damn furious too about all the lying and deception going on in that place. And like somone said in their posts, just tell us the truth instead of saying "Tomarrow." I would get myself the refund and goto somewhere else that can handle business better. just my .02 cents

well i just recieved a hoodscoop from them last week.. when i ordered they said a week but i got it in 3 weeks.. i proly wouldve gotten a little annoyed but ive been dealing with alotta crappy problems lately to notice the time.. oh well.... hope u get yer sides soon..

i've had similar problems with MBautosport as far as shipping out my bodykit on time, etc, etc. I pretty much got fed up wtih being lied to about when it was supposed to be shipped, copped a HUGE attitude and said that I was going to cancel my order if it was not shipping within a day- guess what- that bad boy was shipped the next day. Sometimes being a b!tch pays off, plus i got some money off too for the inconvience..... get nasty with not only WW but also MB for putting you through this BS!

just wait...when i ordered my front lip...they were very honest with me about the backordering and stuff.

my bad that i got the wrong idea...i didn't consider the aspect that they lied to you so much. screw them. there should be another place you can get it from now.

i can completely understand how a autosport shop can get busy and have delay's and its hard for the owner to keep track of everything. I'm friends with a local shop in my area.. they sponsor our bay area team... they are a great shop though... no matter how busy they get they don't lie to you about how long its gonna take for your **** to come in and if they say it should be in by so and so day it usually is. They are straight forward.

There is no excuse for lieing, if your not sure its gonna be in then don't tell your customers that, and if you lazy on the shipments find someone to ship that stuff out. If a company wants to keep a customer from canceling the order and something is honestly going to be late you tell them. Like here's an example... i e-mailed a new shop around here that sells replica body kits.. i asked the guy about the Veilside kit.. he straight forward told me "we have 5 on order but the kit is on back order for everyone such as VIS and we aren't sure of the actual arrival date, i'll let you know when i find out an approximate time". Now thats a good answer... and when the kit comes in i'm gonna buy it from them.

If you want to keep customers coming back.. BE HONEST.
