they're in excellent condition, and no, no signs of fading. They have been painted for almost 1 year and keep looking like in the pic.

How come I can only see half the pic? Does anyone else have the same problem?

Vinny, I hate you. :D

Did you paint it yourself?

Well from the half that I see, you did a great job painting them, haha.

edit: nevermind, the pic fully loads up now. :D

What kind of paint did you use to paint them with, if you don't mind me asking?

He probably used testor window tint spray or Vht niteshades. I used VHT to tint my lights.

vaio23 that looks hot man. I like what you've done by covering up the white reverse light. Looks unique. Did you just use tape to mask it off then spray? Nice job.

wait ....are the tail lights painted on the outside? Or is the lens tinted from the inside.. like you put it in the oven and pry them open etc. If it's sprayed on the outside.. does someone have a write up that i can follow? Thanks

You can't paint the inside of the taillights like you paint the headlights. The oven trick doesn't work. You'd have to cut them open to paint the inside.

Both of those above are painted on the outside. It's real simple. Mask off the parts you don't want to get paint on, and paint the rest. You're not installing a turbo here. ;)

Well if you want it to look good it takes alittle more work. First clean the lights with dishwashing soap. Then mask off anything you dont want overspray on. Then spray the lights with transparent tint spray, light coats wetsanding with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper inbetween coats. After your last tint coat then start spraying the clear using the same process. After your final clear coat make sure surface is perfectly smooth using 2000 grit sandpaper and finish with a few coats of rubbing compound to bring back the shine.
