View Full Version : Infinity FX85 - Extreme Matrix

Just saw an Infinity ad on Tech TV, which showed a what looked like a Matrix-on-steroids-like vehicle for a few seconds. A search on google showed several reports on the new "car", identified as an Infiniti FX85. For example:http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.mv?file=car.mv&num=1188

I saw an FX85 prototype at the Denver Auto Show last year, but it was large--easily the size of a 4Runner or bigger. The one on TV looked quite a bit smaller; less of an SUV and more of a RAV4/Matrix size vehicle. Maybe not, since it apparently has a V8 in it!

The headlights and taillights just don't fit in with the rest of the car's design. And what are those, 20" rims? :eek:

21" wheels; yow! Not sure if that's the size that will make it in production though.

That car is the FX45! It has the same 4.5L V8 as the Q45.

Comes out next year
