I am selling my GT and going to buy a GTS. But i have a couple of questions about selling my car. Should i trade it in or try to sell it myself? Also should i keep my intake in and HID lights?
Also any suggestions if I sell it myself?
-Thanks

At least try to sell it privately first.
I had success with autotrader.com
Ended up selling my 6 to a guy from Maryland for a lot more than a dealer would give me.

sell it yourself. the dealer will give you less than you can get selling it privately

but if your in a hurry, put the hid's in your GTS unless your buying it with HID's but anyways, the intake will gon the GTS and the HID if it doesnt fit, can be sold.

make some extra cash from selling the parts seperatly..most buyers dont really care much for mods. and would actually have you lower the asking price because of them.

If your in no rush its definitely better to do a private sale as a dealer is going to rape you.

yes indeed.. we tried to trade in our 91 Inifinity Q45 at the honda dealership (mom wanted a passport) and said they'll give us $1,500 for it. ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?!... we sold it later for 10k.

If there are some scratches on the car should i try to use touch-up paint or have it done at a shop, or should i just not cover up the scratches at all?

Say what? I don't know who the hell gave you $10K for a 13-14 year old car but whoever did is nuts. I could see a 91 Q45 being worth maybe $3500 on trade in but there is no way in hell I would ever give anyone $10K for one. That is just insane or stupidity but props to you guys for raping someone LMAO.
By the way KBB private seller value for this car in my area was $3200 and that was for a car in excellent condition with only 50,000 miles so yeah you guys raped the hell out of someone. On top of that everyone knows that KBB's value is usually higher than what it really should be so technically speaking it should have only gotten around $2700 or so or this car in excellent condition. I wish I had some sells skills like you guys LMAO. Talk about absolutely raping someone but hey if you can do it more power to you.

I'm assuming that happened a number of years ago.

I hope so but the way he put it it kind of seemed like it wasn't that long ago. However, I kind of assumed it was awhile back but then again its a tossup. Only he can answer as to when this really was. If I am not mistaken they quit making the Passport in 2002 so yeah it could have been several years ago but still.

yea thats what i meant. it was about 4-5 years ago. parents got the 2000 passport. not to happy about that decision, but had to get rid of that maintenance whore Q45.
