Recently I started to experience trouble with fueling my celica. When I pump the gas at the station, pump keeps shutting off. I have to keep on squizing it to get tank filled even half way. I never can get it completely filled (afraid to spill).
I have 2001 Manual Celica GT, with about 65K miles. I do have check engine light becuase of EVAP control circuit mulfunction, maybe this has something to do with this?

Don't let the dealership rip you off!

Whaat? really? Ok then I'll probably go to the local shop instead. I doubt I can do it myself, at least not without some kind of repair manual and schematics...I have no idea how that canister even looks like. BTW is there any place I can get the book? Autostores I've been in, don't carry it...
Thanks for the advice!

If/when you buy the part you'll know exactly what it looks like so you can locate it underneath the car.

hey since i have the same problem as Bratan could it be caused by me having a custom pipe exhaust?

Thanks for the advice! PM slidr. He's got a PDF copy of the manuals. The only place that has them as a book is Toyota, and they're like $75 each.

The canister itself just looks like a rectangular box with hoses going in and out. Shouldn't be hard to replace at all.
