Hey guys,

I got rear Street Sways and many of you states that the stock enlinks will break if not " BEND ", thus you dont get the performance that you are supose to get when you hit a corner.

Is this true ? Experts, Please explain..!! :)

Thanks

It's possible, especially if your car is lowered a lot. Just the strength of the bars may damage your endlinks, but if your car is lowered a lot (around 2" and lower, or using coilovers), the improper length of the endlinks will significantly preload the bars, causing stress on the endlinks even when the car is sitting still (usually only stressed when the car is turning). That will increase the possibility of endlink damage by a lot.

This is why Hotchkis sells adjustable endlinks. You can shorten them to fit perfectly with the height of your car, and they're much stronger than stock (and Tein and Hypermotive). Bottle from Titan Motorsports may be able to get us a good price on Hotchkis' endlinks (they're already cheap at just under $100), so it's definitely a good idea to pick up a set for optimal sway bar performance.

I bent a stock front endlink with stock swaybar and race rubber.

Coz I only have TRD Springs and AGX shocks.... so the length of the endlinks are okay.

But if stocks will bend them, the Street sway will surely bend them too in the back ??
