Hi

I've just picked up my Celica, which came with no stereo fitted and two single DIN blanking panels covering the hole.

How do I get these out to fit my own radio in here, I've had a look from behind through the fuse compartment but can't spot anything.

Cheers

Ross

listen here buddy from the UK

I was wondering why your car came with no freaking radio and then I noticed where you are from.....

but regardles,

you have take out the middle dash console which is easy to do...

the bottom part by the shifter just pops out, then remove the knob for the ace controls where you will see two screws also there are two screws on the bottom part right where the piece poped out. get the 4 screws out and now you have to pop out the console.

that bracket if its like the usa spec one has 4 10MM sockets which come very easly.

that's would be all for today class is over kids....

That worked nicely.

No radio because I imported the car from mainland Europe and saved about $6000 on the price that way, only difference is I got no radio with mine.

if I would have waited for my car I would have gotten mine with NOTHING at all as for sound....

everything was replaced the same day I got the car out the dealer....headunit, components front and rear, subs amps, baterry, capacitor, crossover...the whole nine yards...****....on wires alone I have like $500 worth

If you really want to, you can tell the dealer to remove the stock audio stuff and have them cut it off of the price of a new car. You don't *have* to pay for it.

I get the stock stuff so that if I sell the car I don't have to sell my nice stereo along with it...
