ouch that sucks.. if they can't prove that you've been racing, then they'll just have to cover you.. plus.. go in there and ask your service rep about this inside information you've been getting about "sludge" in new toyota cars.. that will defenatly get them running; they've been receiving claims of cars comming in straight from the toyota factory with sludge in the engines..

well my mechanic said the timing chain broke and thats why I couldnt start the motor.
This tell me two things.

1. It broke, some maybe the valves are ok

2. It broke because the valves siezed up or something.

If the pistons are OK I'll just get the head re-done from Gude.

Should I attempt to fight Toyota on this one?

I hit 2nd gear twice from 3rd (oops - that isn't 4th ;) ). Was quick enough to catch it both times with no damage.
