spray some glass cleaner "Windex" on the window and take a razor blade..... all the glue will came off!!!! but hey!!! if it's for the back glass... don't use the razor blade..... it will messed up the defrost lines........

to do it, peel the window film off, it will leave a stick residue, then use windex to get that stuff off. it takes a bit of time but from what i've found out, windex works the best.

Use rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky film.

I find it nail polish removal (alcohol) removes glue pretty good.
On flat glass (no defrost line) use a stainless steel razor blade barely nick part of the glass, pull the film out alittle. Now if there is enough film for you to pinch it, use your fingers and hand to pull the film off. What ever that is left on the window use razor blade to pull small piece off and use hand to pull the film off. What ever glue left on the glass use nail polish remover to wipe it off. For every window I would use a fresh razor blade (they are cheap anyways) so to prevent the nicks on the razor blade damaging the window.

Heat is the 2nd element in this. if you are in a warm area, spray windex on the film, and put a BLACK garbage bag over it and park directly in the sun for an hour or two. It should practically peel itself off.

It is the ammonia in windex that is the active ingredient - so just go get some straight ammonia in the house-hold cleaning section of a grocery store for 99c. Worked great for me.

You could just throw a rock through all you windows and make an insurance claim.
