aww so sad. I hope this will direct buyers more to the corrolla or the civic. I'm suprised that the focus was the big seller it was.

at least they made the new carolla a little cooler looking. Looks like of like it has a body kit on.

Any one notice how they worded some of it,
"Three days later, NHTSA began probing complaints of airbag burn injuries"
They say nothing of the airbags deploying prematurly just that people got burned Whoopeedeedoo, the skin of my right arm was almost completly burned off by the air bag in my neon but it saved my life small price to pay I never complained. it sounds like a lot of this they are just pulling for a news story.

I think that the ford Focus is sooo ugly. Especially the hatchback. They got funky rims too. It's..........It's..............Just sooooo ugly.

Alright.. no reason to start bashing all domestics again here guys.. this ain't no damn witch hunt.

I personally really like the Focus.. cause you know what.. it was really the first kinda edgy car to appear in the US.. before the celica's and rsx's.. and all taht jazz... that car is very euro.. if you've been to europe and know the style, you know what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure about this, but I thought I remember reading about the Ford Escape having a recall because the steering wheel would come off while dirving.

I like the focus.. good handlin, the new SVT sounds great... okay maybe reliability is bad, but cmon, i'd take one over a corolla, even the new ones (well, maybe).
domestics arent all bad... but i do love my import =)

I do actually like the looks of the hatchback Focus, but not the coupe. It is pretty crappy though with all the problems it's had. Makes the Celica look like the most reliable car on the market

funny... cuz i've brought my celi in to the dealer for warantee work more than my roomate has w/his focus.

I had an 86' ford ranger that i bought new, had it 11years with hardly any problems(german engine, transmission) but it seems like ford has been "out to lunch" since then. maybe it was'nt those firestone tires after all:wiggle:
