So i'm just looking for some general feedback... I need to put together a pretty decent business plan for school. Im thinking of doing an online type of company that focuses on the appearance side of things in the import scene... so mainly body kits, rims/tires, maybe veer off into suspension, tie bars, etc, but focus on the bodykits mainly.
So my question is, is the online market too saturated already with companies? I was thinking of carrying only authentic stuff, and focus on maybe 3-4 main brands like Kam, veilside, etc. And actually keep a few of each kits in stock, so they would be ready to ship next day if someone was to buy.
Again though... i dont know how unoriginal this is... any suggestions on making it a better idea? Whats your guys main beef with buying say a bodykit online?
And realize this is just for school, so its not like im planning on starting this up and stealing board sponsors business.... at the same time i want to make it realistic and not just make a bunch of crap up.
Oh and another possible idea is same type of thing but also have an actual storefront, so local people could come and actually see the kits in person and buy, save the shipping costs... kinda like a warehouse type of deal, nothing super fancy... could do both or either... or neither if its a stupid idea.
Any good feedback is appreciated...
