I just got a damn ticket this morning. Speeding, what else =(
I got one about 1.5 years ago and now another one. My insurance was 150 a month, how much do you think it will go up now?

Anybody else know from experience. Thanks for you time

I am 22 years old and I have one ticket on record (but have gotten 3 speeding tickets in the last 2 or 3 years). The ticket that went on my record was the most recent...like 3 months ago, and my insurance just got renewed this month. It didn't go up a lot, like maybe $5 a month, so I'm thinking they didn't care about my ticket (it still says Good Driver discount). I have All State, by the way. Did your insurance go up when you got your first ticket? If it didn't, then I think there's a good chance it will go up for this one. Anyway, good luck.

If its been 18 months since you got your last ticket, you can take Traffic School again. If not eligible, it will go on your record. I got a ticket just over a year since my last one and I just took a chance and contested in court. It was dismissed since the officer didn't show up. I got lucky since thinking back I don't think I was going to win the case. If you want to take the risk try to contest it. If you are eligible to take traffic school just take to get it out of the way.
