I am installing the c2 trunk shocks i just got and the top bolt on the shock that connects to the hatch is on there tight.. anyone replaced their shocks before know how to get it off? all help would be greatly appreciated.

i tried to take those off to sell em a long time ago... those are impossible to take off with out f'ing up the bolts. good luck

yea i've noticed lol.. im just going to give them into bodywerks when they fix up my front bumper for some body work i need to get done see if they can do it

Its just hard to turn but it will turn. I replaced mine recently.

i can't get mine to turn at all.. its just stripping the bolt

Put a pair of vice-grips on it.

someone in the group buy thread suggested sawing through the metal between the bolt and the shock, and then just using a socket on the bolt. I was kind of hoping not to have to go that route, but it might be less of a PITA.

They make them in varying sizes, get a smaller pair LOL!

well i'd need a pair that is as thick as 2 quarters
