custom rear seats

has anyone tried to put stock front seats in the rear? i wanted to do this but i dont think they will fit. the floor is too high and the headliner is too low. but i was woundering if i could strip the seats and chop a few inches out of the middle. then slip the cover back over triming the extra off the bottom. does anyone think this will work?

It's not like there is much room to begin with back there. Save the money and put it toward something else.
