If you look at box's redded taillight, the red is even throughout. Since the top part of the taillight is already red, all you'll need to do is apply the vinyl to the amber part. Even if you do that, since you're applying red vinyl over the amber part, wouldn't it look more orange/red than red? Think about it. Can't wait to see the pics.

I got my vinly today from bOx and I applied it to my tailights. I only covered the amber part cause it looked perfect. There was no need to cover the whole taillight.

thanks for the thumbs up guys! I really hope you guys enjoyed your red out tails.
bat: i covered my whole tails because i didnt want 2 different shades of red on them. And about the turning signal light - it's completely RED through the vinyl! :)

whoops it was on private, sorry try again now
I got my vinyl 2 days ago. Good work b0x.
Jaycee- Did you take off your taillights when you put the vinyl on cuz I'm having a hard time putting it on. The cutting part is giving me a hard time. Can't seem to cut smoothly on the edges. So how did you do yours? Any info. will be helpful.

take off the tail lights its alot easier to work with then. i kinda made a quick template with paper and then worked the vinyl from there. also heat helps to wrap the ends up... make sure u put vinyl on the underside too or itll b orange at the very corners from the light coming out from the bottom n reflecting off the bumper.
