quick question for anyone that knows about civics. Do they make a type R here in the United States? and if they do is the type R badge a large banner across the windshield? :D
The reason I ask is because I went to autozone the other day to get a new chamios and more wax for the car and I see this Green Civic "type R" coupe in the parking lot i'm guessing it was a late 90s (98? 99?). It had the usual exhaust tip, No exhaust that I could see tho, and lots of stickers and **** all over it. and some cheap steelies with aftermarket HUBCAPS to top it off. I thought hmm, I wonder if this guy could possibly be inside autozone buying rice parts for his car. Well the funny thing is, I walk inside and sure enough, the only guy in the goddamn store was in the Rice section! he was checking out the type R badges when I walked by, I **** you not.. I left the store laughing my ass off. Just thought I'd share with you guys.

all the time....i just look at them sitting there in their "Type-R whatever" leaning all the way to the side thinking they are the most-pimpadocious (yeah u like that word huh?) thug in the whole wide world.....I just shake my head and laugh....and speed off, while their carburated type-r accord is still trying not to die because of the 4-inch custom exhaust with the 5 1/2 inch coffee can muffler they bought at riceboys......
and sometimes they actually try to race.........

i need to start carrying a digicam around. I have to do alot of driving for my job, and see some wacky assed looking cars. like the other day on hwy 49 I saw a civic hatch with a GIGANTIC WING ON TOP OF THE ROOF OF A HATCH BACK! not on the trunk , since the egg shaped civics didnt have trunks, this thing was on the ROOF of the car over the rear hatch area, just in front of the back windshield, and it was ****in humongous. That has to be the all time worst I have ever seen with my own 2 eyes. Way worse than the "civic type R" mentioned above.
I hope I come across that car again, ill take a pic and post it.

I feel stupid for having to say this but THere are NO Domestic TYPE R civic hatchbacks....

I wish there were id rather have that than a Celica no offense. I have a GTS and love it but a Type R is a TYpe R.

I know this dude drives 87 accord 4 door. This dude has accord type R all over his car, all kinds of tacky stickers and all other ricey goodies. His car has over 250k miles and yes it is carburated. This guy spent over 4g on his car buying parts and I wonder why?

Yeah, he tries to race most of the time, while others left him in the dust.
