i got a tire size question

ok dotn laugh..but i dont want bigger rims or anything..i just want wider tires.i used to have 205/15/50 falcon az.sport. but i ran across a 225/15/50...would that be too wide for the car ?? im sain is it even gona fit and would it rub in the front when i turn?( i hve kyb shocks and sportline springs already..so its lower ...thats all i want to know.

you mean 225/50/15 :)

and you should be fine, im running 225/50/16's on my gts and there is only slight rubbing if i fully turn the wheel, but these are pretty chuncky tires, raised the height of my car about an inch or two.

its really not that bad, i actually pushed the plastic in the wheel well in some more and it stopped rubbing.

you'll definately feel a difference, but then it also depends on the type of tires you buy also.

yeah they are..i made the mistake from driving them from detroit MI to LA cali...the worst part was i got stuck in chicago in a snow storm for like 10 miles...and couldnt even go up a small hill...but i got the tires for cali..not MI in the middle of winter. well i got to AZ and my tire was getting really soft so i stoped alot to let the tire cool off.but yeah im gona get 4 more soon..they are amazing tires and decent in the rain also ..well beter then the stock celica tires.

If you're talking about the RT-615 compound azenis in 225/50-15, don't hold your breath. That's a typo Falken gave to their dealers. They're not making that size.

no i drove the 205/50-15 from MI..the sport..azenis used for autocross...got them from discount tire.
