Ahhhh, sorry man...nothing but problems with them!

Regardless...if yours is working good, then by all means recommend it. :)

As for the temperature thing...are you 100% that your remote shows you the temperature??? Dont go off what the manual/box says....but, does it actually work?? I have done over 30 Aladdin's in the last 3 months...and let me tell you, NONE have had the temperature feature work. Back when the Aladdin was the Powerlink alarm/starter...the temperature worked fine, on the new model Aladdin though, good luck.

Did you get the Aladdin installed yet? What did you do about external LED's??

Just today I had to throw another Aladdin in the warranty bin because of the "disarm" wire on it.. (white/blue). It's supposed to send a 2 or so second pulse when you shut off the alarm, or remote start the car to disable the factory alarm...well once again the Aladdin is sending a pulse that seems to last for atleast 5mins.

Overall, goodluck with the unit, I hope you have better luck than the latest shipment we got.

Well damn man, I can't believe you have the temperature working! Thats a first...!

When did you purchase the unit?? I know Aladdin is in the process of updating the unit...and fixing the original release glitches, I hope you have one of the updated units!

Does your Aladdin have an output for LED's?? That was one of the things the new unit would have on it...so I am looking forward to that since most customers want a light show to some extent.

When the Aladdin first came out...believe it or not, but the shop where I work at became Aladdin's place to call for Tech Support. I couldnt believe it....we asked them a few questions...they didnt know the answers. We went ahead and figured them out ourselves...then we had them calling us back and asking us how we figured it out. Ehhhhhh, when a company has to call one of its customers for their tech support...thats gotta tell you something! lol

Well I hope it does work out!

Majority of customers in all reality are happy with the units. Most have very high praises on the range they get out of them. I think the reason we see alot back...is that we do install alot of them. Most come back with minor problems...but big enough to annoy the installers. ;)

I have the original Powerlink model in my car. The temperature isnt very accurate...I mean, sometimes its -2C outside, with my car sitting there for atleast 4 hours...and my damn thing reads +22C. Go figure... lol

If you have any questions that Aladdin cant answer in the future...drop me an email, I can guarantee you an answer quicker than Aladdin's tech support. :)

I've heard nothing but bad things about it. I almost ordered one...but after researching them... i decided against it.

This alarm is garbage. I do not have one and will never get one. You should see the complaints of this alarm on the Hondas and Acura boards. No one there can give the thumps up for this alarm. Stick with DEI, the best choice.

I have an Aladdin 2000 for my WRX, it works fine, but as far as I know, only the international model has the inside temperature feature. I just like the turbo timer feature and the manual transmission remote start feature.
