Trd Spoiler

Any of you guys know how to hook up the third brake light thing from the trd spoiler? i checked the intalls forums but couldnt really understand what and how by their directions. has anyone done this before? cuz i have a 00 gt-s and just bought a replica TRD spoiler for it. it has a third brake light but i am clueless on how to put it on correctly.

When you open your hatch, at the top left side(drivers side) there is a rubber grommet with the wires going to the roof mounted third brake light. Connect into them, and hid the wire down the hatch into the rubber window strip. Hope this helps.

I actually used fishing line to route mine through the metal frame of the hatch. It's a tight fit and takes a while, but it was worth it.

I also have a TRD replica wing. And i will have to do the same thing, as soon as its painted. Does anyone know which color wire it is? Or are there only a few wires?

There is an unused connector clipped onto the inside of the hatch that is supposed to be for the 3rd brake light (I guess Toyota put it there in case you wanted to buy a TRD spoiler someday). Mine didn't work so I had to use the one that's near the roof that the stock 3rd brake light plugs into.
